A Rush and a Push and the Land Is Ours

Yes, after much debate I too have started a blog.

It’s not that I needed a home for my writing: Joe Calix and Scott Hale have been generous enough to allow me to write for their sites, and I am grateful for that opportunity. Hale was the first person to subtly nudge me toward writing about boxing, Calix the first to provide the forum, and the support I’ve received from both these men has allowed me to return to a craft I had abandoned for far too long.

I’ve long wanted to have a site where I control the content, a more personal forum for my writing. This blog is an opportunity for me to experiment and improve as a writer, to track and reflect on my effort, to compile my writing, and to interact with friends in a forum unhampered by the 140 character restriction of Twitter. It is mine, all mine, but I want to share it with you.
